The word of the Lord reminds us about the condition of our hearts. May it be our desire to put God first in it and not let anything or anyone take the place of Him in our hearts. Don't let our hearts be deceived by the enemy by clinging to something or to someone that we feel most important of all. And let us always remember that "The Lord gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him" in His own perfect time.
